John and Samya

From the moment Shawn and I met John and Samya I knew they were going to be a pleasure to photograph. With only a few weeks until the big day, they still had a sense of calm about them. John and Samya were both so friendly and down to earth. I could tell they were happy because they smiled a lot (a plus for wedding photographers. :) A big THANK YOU to the bride and groom for allowing us the pleasure of preserving such an important moment in their lives.

Here is just a sample of what is to come. I am restraining myself from posting all of my favorites. I plan on adding a few more pictures tomorrow.

Enjoy :)

This picture was taken a week before the wedding. I had the good fortune to get a quick pose in front of the Officer's Club.

This is were I get a little teary eyed. The look on Samya's face when her sister put her veil on took me back to my little sister's wedding just last month.

I would love to see the pictures these kids took. (what an interesting perspective!)

I loved the personal touches that they added to their day, such as the unique coffee cup charm on John's boutonniere. I can't wait until the coffee shop opens :)

A moment at the beach.
